Community Voice Mail
Community Voice Mail allows low-income people
who are without a phone to receive and check messages at a free, private
voice mail box 24 hours a day. It allows people to transition safely out of
crisis situations such as homelessness and domestic abuse, as well as to
find employment and safe, secure housing. It’s also a great way to
keep in touch with family and friends and get hooked up with other vital
community resources.
Skagit County Community Action Agency's Community Voice Mail
program is part of a national network of CVM sites, empowering people in
crisis and transition by distributing free 24-hour voice mail nationwide -
directly linking individuals to jobs, housing, safety and stability.
