JOB SUMMARY:     This full-time position (37.5 hours per week) is co-located at Skagit County Community Action Agency’s (SCCAA) main office and the local Community Services Office (CSO) of DSHS, and is supervised by SCCAA’s WorkFirst Coordinator. This position assists TANF parents referred to SCCAA’s WorkFirst Program achieve their employment goals by helping them identify current needs/issues and create a plan that meets their employment needs and goals. Develops and maintains community job sites. Maintains program documentation and billings as required.

JOB SUMMARY:     Part-time position, 20-25 hours per week.  Performs clerical support functions for the WIC program.  Serves as back-up for WIC Clerk.  Positively represents the WIC Program to the public and to other departments within the agency.  Assists with issuing WIC checks at the farmers market on Saturday mornings through the summer.

JOB SUMMARY:     Under the direction of the Literacy Services Coordinator, the primary task will be developing the Financial Literacy program.  Responsibilities will include recruiting participants and volunteers, coordinating a financial literacy advisory committee, delivering instruction in English and Spanish, developing a clearinghouse of resource information, performing outreach in the community and researching funding options for sustainability.

This is a full-time “volunteer” placement through AmeriCorps*VISTA.  Compensation includes a monthly stipend (approximately $833/month; a $4,725 education award; basic health insurance, moving expenses, and more).
